Is it really free of charge?

Yes. All features listed in this presentation will be free of charge for the restaurants.

For how long time will it be free?

Current bacon.fi team does not have any plans to charge restaurants for basic reservations handling. Of course we can not fully guarantee that at some point in the future bacon.fi ownership will change and the business-model will be modified.

What is the catch? Is bacon.fi a charity organization?

Bacon.fi is definitely not a charity organisation. However, we believe that basic/crucial functionality should be available to everyone free of charge. There are many large companies in the internet that are successfully practising a similar model. We also plan to start providing paid services in addition to the free basic reservation handling. There will be a premium account with monthly fees that will provide extra functionality in addition to what you have seen. Some feature ideas that we have for the premium accounts are: possibility to reserve money from end-users, possibility to pre-order menu items for reservation etc. Bacon.fi also plans to provide more services than just table reservations related to the restaurants and end-users.

When will bacon.fi be fully available?

As soon as we are ready:-) We are already running demos and trials with restaurants. You can sign-up to be involved in our development and beta testing group by sending an e-mail introducing yourself to info@bacon.fi
